Responsibilities
Perform all aspects of ground operations including load master, hazardous materials, deicing, fueling, catering, security, etc.
Monitor our customers and vendors for compliance with company procedures for all ground operations functions.
Perform quality control audits of flight folders, warehouse procedures and ramp operations to ensure compliance.
Keep management and GCC informed of any operational issues that may affect/impact operational performance.
Ensure our customers/vendors and employees are current with all operating requirements and focus items affecting ground operations.
Perform quality control audits to meet Security and Safety and Regulatory Compliance standards.
Responsible to ensure reliability, performance and safety goals for our customers, vendors and employees are achieved.
Monitor ramp activities and performance to ensure safe and timely aircraft handling.
Supervise the different areas or departments involved with Schedule Service, charter operations: Staffing, Trainings, Import, Export, Traffic, Interlines, Customer Service, Ramp Handling, etc.
Collaboratively develop action plans with those team members performing below established goal to improve performance.
Actively work with all other departments to continuously improve the service to our customers and control costs.
Closely keep track on flight schedules and response to emails and calls timely for seamless coordination with all parties
Other duties related to the position based on operational needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor degree holder or above, or a combination of work experience with high school graduation
Minimum of 5 years of airline experience, with 2 years in supervisory role
Must be qualified in all areas of ground and 767/747/777 Cargo operations. (PAX experience is a plus)
Demonstrate the ability to work in a team-based environment.
Able to cope with last minute change on flight schedule and adaptable to flexible work arrangements
Willing to travel as required by the company
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Ability to meet the demands of varied responsibilities and deadlines.
Outstanding customer service skills.
Computer skills working with Microsoft Office or comparable software.
Applicants are required to pass company Initial and annual recurrent training in areas of load planning, Weight & Balance, aircraft handling, dangerous goods handling, etc
